Facebook & Instagram ads for dentists

Meta ads that fill the diary, not the inbox

Most people who end up with aligners, bonding or implants weren’t searching when they first saw the ad. Meta is where that demand starts. We build it per treatment, and judge it on the patients it books.

The problem

Cheap leads are the expensive ones

Meta’s algorithm finds more of whatever you tell it success looks like. Tell it a form fill is success and it finds people who fill in forms: curious, cheap, and often unreachable.

That’s why so many practices see cost per lead fall while the diary stays empty. The fix isn’t cheaper leads. It’s teaching Meta what a patient looks like.

What we do

Built per treatment, trained on bookings

  • Separate campaigns per treatment, each with its own budget, audience and message, so aligners never compete with implants for spend.
  • Qualifying lead forms: treatment interest, timeframe and finance questions that sort the ready from the browsing before reception picks up the phone.
  • Creative made for dentistry: clinician-led video, patient stories and genuine before-and-afters (with consent), refreshed before it tires.
  • Conversions API: booked consultations and treatment value sent back to Meta, so the algorithm learns who books, not who clicks.
  • Postcode targeting: budget aimed at the areas your paying patients actually come from, per clinic.

Advertising rules. Every ad and landing page we write follows the GDC’s guidance on ethical advertising and the ASA’s CAP Code: no misleading claims, clear pricing and finance terms, and no pressure tactics. Your practice’s reputation is never the price of a lead.

How it’s measured

The numbers we report

Cost per lead is on the report, but it’s never the headline.

Cost per consultation
Ad spend divided by consultations booked from that campaign.
Show rate
The share of booked consultations that attend, by campaign and clinic.
Treatment value
What patients from each campaign went on to pay, from your practice software.
Return on ad spend
Treatment value against spend, per treatment, so budget follows revenue.

Who you’ll work with

We’ll show you which of your Meta campaigns are booking patients, and which are just collecting names.

Questions practices ask

Meta ads FAQs

Are Facebook and Instagram ads worth it for dentists?

Yes, especially for private treatments people don’t search for until they’re prompted: Invisalign, composite bonding, veneers and implants. Meta creates that demand; Google catches people already looking. Most practices do best running both, tracked to bookings.

Why are our Meta leads poor quality?

Usually because the campaign is optimised for form submissions, with no qualifying questions and no booking data sent back to Meta. Adding qualification and the Conversions API typically changes who the ads reach.

Can we use before-and-after photos in dental ads?

Genuine before-and-after images can be used with the patient’s written consent, as long as they’re representative and not misleading under the GDC’s guidance and the CAP Code. We check every piece of creative against both.

Who owns the ad accounts and the data?

You do. Campaigns run in your own Meta and Google accounts with access you grant, your CRM stays yours, and your dashboard shows you everything we see. If you ever leave, it all stays with you.

Do your ads follow the GDC and ASA rules?

Yes. Every ad, form and landing page we write follows the GDC’s guidance on ethical advertising and the ASA’s CAP Code: accurate claims, clear pricing and finance terms, consent for any patient imagery, and no pressure tactics.
